Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia

Dorchester on the Beach is at the centre of the Gold Coast’s most exciting area, just 950 metres south of central Surfers Paradise and only 1.5 km north of Broadbeach.

Take a walk along the beach, shake the sand off your feet and head into one of the many great places for brunch or lunch. Then walk off any indulgence on the way back. Getting around beyond a walk along the beach is just as easy.

There is plenty of parking in Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise with free options ranging from 2-5 hours. The Light Rail:G Link trams are just a few minutes walk away at the Northcliffe stop. The bus to theme parks stops just around the corner. And, driving to popular hinterland destinations takes less than an hour.

Explore all the things you can do; find national parks and nature reserves, where to eat, what’s on, and where to shop. Grab some tickets, ride a rollercoaster, watch some whales, try something new and exciting.  It’s all on your doorstep at the Dorchester.

Broadbeach is fast becoming the Gold Coast’s premier dining precinct with smart modern restaurants to cater for every taste.

It also hosts the now famous Broadbeach Blues Festival, Country Music Festival & Jazz Festival and is the hub for many exhibitions and conventions with the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Jupiters Casino.

Pacific Fair which is one of Australia’s largest retail centres with more than 300 stores, cinemas and casual dining is the perfect place to head for some retail therapy.

The sparkling Pacific Ocean with the Gold Coast beaches and lovely beachside parks frame this very active centre with convenient Light Rail:G Link trams connections for easy access.
